Bill Payment Promotion and Shopping Spree Terms and Conditions:
A. Bill Payment Promotion Terms and Conditions.
To earn $100 Tri-Town Gift Card you must be a new Bill Payment enrollee and initiate four (4) unique electronic bill payments (i.e. four (4) separate payees) each month for the next three (3) consecutive months. Offer expires on 10/31/09 and all qualifying payments must occur by 1/31/10. There may be fees associated with bill payments. This offer can be withdrawn at any time. Cannot be combined with any other offer. No purchase necessary.
B. Shopping Spree Terms and Conditions:
1. Contest Administration
This contest is being administered and operated by Charter Oak Federal Credit Union & Tri Town Food Stores.
2. Eligibility
The contest will be open only to natural born persons or permanent and lawful residents of the United States of America, and eighteen years of age or older and must not be considered a minor in your state of residence at the time of entry. The following persons are not eligible to enter the contest: (a) Employees of Charter Oak Federal Credit Union & Tri Town Food Stores, and their subsidiaries and affiliates, and (b) any immediate family members of any such employee, whether living in the same household or not, and (c) anyone living in the same household, whether related or not. The term "immediate family" includes spouses, siblings, parents, children, grandparents, and grandchildren, whether as "in-laws," or by current or past marriage(s), remarriage(s), adoption, co-habitation or other family extension. Non-credit union members and members who currently do not have bill payment may enter the contest.
3. How To Enter

If you are a new online bill payer and pay four (4) unique electronic bill payments (i.e. four (4) separate payees) for the next three (3) months during the contest period, you will receive one automatic entry into the contest during the contest period. If you are already making Internet bill payments, you will automatically receive one entry when you make four (4) unique electronic bill payments (i.e. four (4) separate payees) for the next three (3) consecutive months during the contest period. You do not need to fill out any additional forms, nor will any additional forms be sent to you. If you do not wish to receive an entry during the contest period you can contact us by mail at Charter Oak Federal Credit Union, Tri Town/Do Not Enter, 32 Chicago Avenue, Groton, CT 06340, and instruct us not to enter you. For non-credit union members and members who currently do not have bill payment, enter by printing your name, address and telephone number on a 3x5 card. Send the card to Charter Oak Federal Credit Union, Marketing -Tri Town Promotion, 32 Chicago Avenue, Groton, CT 06340, one entry per person. Entry must be postmarked by October 31, 2009. Entries will not be acknowledged or returned. Neither, Charter Oak Federal Credit Union, Tri Town Food Stores nor any affiliates, partners, employees, officers or directors of either shall be responsible for lost, misdirected, incomplete, or illegible entries. This contest is void where prohibited.
4. Contest Period
The contest period runs from 12:00 AM ET September 8, 2009 until 11:59 PM ET on October 31, 2009.
5. Prizes
Grand Prize: The one (1) randomly selected winner will be awarded a 2-minute shopping spree. The one (1) winner will be randomly selected from all eligible entries. The odds of being the grand prize winner depend on the total number of eligible entries received. The Prize drawing will occur on or about February 8, 2010. Charter Oak Federal Credit Union will notify winners. All decisions are final and binding. Neither Charter Oak Federal Credit Union, Tri Town Food Stores nor any affiliates, partners, employees, officers or directors of either shall be responsible for late, lost, misdirected, or unsuccessful efforts to notify winner. If a non-eligible winner is chosen, the sponsor, Charter Oak Federal Credit Union will select another winner.
SHOPPING SPREE REGULATIONS:
- Shopping spree is for a designated time only (2 minutes). A Tri Town Food Stores Store manager and a representative from Tri Town will monitor time.
- Spree winner will start at the service desk with an empty shopping cart. Only one carriage can be filled at a time.
- Should the cart become full, the spree winner must return to the Service Desk to retrieve another empty cart.
- To ensure all rules and regulations are adhered to a Tri Town Food Stores' employee will accompany the spree winner.
- No non-food items including alcohol and tobacco products.
- No service items foods from the deli, la Carte, or fish counter.
- No bulk items.
- Limit of five herbs or spices.
- Only one item from each category (sku)-examples below:
- 1 NY sirloin steak
- 1 turkey
- 1 canned ham
- Any duplicate items of a category will be disqualified from spree winnings.
- At the end of the designated time for spree, which will be announced over the store p.a. system, spree winner will stop and proceed to the check out counters.
- A Tri Town Food Stores' employee will review items. A Tri Town Food Stores' employee will remove any items that violate rules and regulations from the winnings.
- Charter Oak Federal Credit Union & Tri Town Food Stores are not responsible for any injuries that may occur during the shopping spree. Spree winner is not permitted to run within the store.
- Any violations of the spree rules will result in disqualification.
- Only one person can participate in the spree. There are no relay teams or helpers allowed.
- Shoppers must be 18 years or older and sign a release absolving Charter Oak Federal Credit Union & Tri Town Food Stores of any liability.
- Shopper is allowed to tour store prior to the spree.
- Store will announce over the p.a. system the start of the spree and give 15 second warnings during the last minute of the spree.
- A countdown will be performed during the last 10 seconds.
6. General Conditions
Charter Oak Federal Credit Union & Tri Town Food Stores will select the prize winner. Federal, state and local tax liability and any other expenses are the sole responsibility of prize winner. Void where restricted and prohibited. Prizes are non-transferable, non-assignable and non-exchangeable.
7. Consent to Publicity and Release
By accepting a prize, winners consent to the use of their name and likeness for publicity purposes without further compensation, unless prohibited by law. All entrants agree to release and hold harmless the participating sponsors, Charter Oak Federal Credit Union & Tri Town Food Stores and their immediate family, partners, employees, subsidiaries, agents, representatives, and affiliates from any and all claims of any kind arising directly or indirectly from the Contest, from any Contest prize, or from any publicity about the Contest.
8. Miscellaneous
By entering the contest, you agree to comply with all of the terms and conditions mentioned herein. Noncompliance with any entry procedure will result in disqualification.
