LOCAL CHILDREN’S EVENT A BIG WAVE
OF FUN FOR CHARTER OAK EMPLOYEES!
On Saturday, July 24th, Charter Oak employees battled the heat at New London’s Waterfront Park for the fifth annual Fish Tales, Tugs & Sails festival. Featuring strolling pirates, children’s authors, boats and sailing vessels open for exploration, as well as environmentally themed activities and professional performances for children, the day was chock full of free activities for children and families.
Employees Cathie Forier, Clint Bramlett and Kim Bartlett (Pirate Kim) manned Charter Oak’s popular treasure booth throughout the day, with hundreds of children taking a spin on our prize wheel for fun giveaways like flashlights, pencils and more!
