Charter Oak Federal Credit Union employees helped the Chamber of Commerce of Eastern Connecticut celebrate its 100th Anniversary at the Mystic Marriott on November 5th. Featuring historical vignettes organized by the Eugene O’Neill Theater Center, a wonderful dinner and dancing, the Gala was attended by over 500 Chamber members and supporters who were encouraged to wear Edwardian or Flapper era attire. The Credit Union’s own Vice President of Business Lending, Jane Moriarty served on the event’s planning committee and attended the event in complete flapper garb, which she happily donned for the special occasion.
As the evening wound down, Charter Oak employees had the privilege of meeting Connecticut’s Senator-elect Richard Blumenthal, who stopped by the event to congratulate the Chamber!
As a Regional Benefactor of the Chamber of Commerce of Eastern CT, Charter Oak is pleased to congratulate Tony Sheridan and his staff on this milestone! Here’s to another 100 years!
