CHARTER OAK WELCOMES TRI-TOWN FOODS TO THE NEIGHBORHOOD

Charter Oak's Staff Members Attend Tri-Town's Ribbon Cutting
for New Montville Store

On Thursday, July 30, Charter Oak Federal Credit Union welcomed our new neighbor, Tri-Town Foods to its latest location on Norwich/New London Turnpike by attending their much anticipated ribbon cutting ceremony. Located just two doors down from Charter Oak's Montville office, the Tri-Town Food Stores chain is locally owned and operated, with four CT locations, including Ledyard, East Lyme, Portland and now Montville!

Attending Wednesday's ribbon cutting festivities were Charter Oak staff members, including CEO Brian Orenstein, Assistant Vice President of Marketing and Product Development Laurie Cormier, Community Relations Coordinator Kim Bartlett and Long Hill Road Branch Manager Deb Berardi. Also in attendance to assist with ribbon cutting duties were Montville Mayor Joseph Jaskiewicz, Town Councilman Billy Caron, Senator Andrea Stillman, various representatives from the Eastern CT Chamber of Commerce, as well as throngs of customers waiting to shop!

Encouraging attendees to patronize local businesses by eating locally grown foods and manufactured products, Chamber staff and Tri-Town personnel inspired dozens of attendees to take advantage of the store's many offerings, from the exceptional deli and bakery goods, to floral arrangements at Hart's Florist which is conveniently located just inside the main entrance. Supporting our new friends, Charter Oak staff even brought back some lunch for later in the day!

Charter Oak extends a warm welcome to Tri-Town Foods and we look forward to a lasting relationship beyond banking!
