Charter Oak Sponsors Mitchell College's 5th Annual Earth Day Celebration Featuring Connecticut's Favorite Meteorologist Dr. Mel!
Charter Oak and Mitchell College would like to invite the community to Mitchell's 5th Annual Earth Day Celebration on Thursday, April 22nd from 4:00pm to 5:30pm at the College's Weller Center!
Featuring Dr. Mel Goldstein, Connecticut's Favorite Meteorologist who has been reporting local weather for WTNH/my TV9 since 1986, the environmental celebration will also feature a panel discussion on Biodiversity, as well as an exhibit of student posters highlighting the Mitchell College Beach Restoration project. Charter Oak's CEO Brian Orenstein will be on hand to introduce Dr. Mel as he takes the stage to discuss his book, Dr. Mel's Connecticut Climate Book.
