CHARTER OAK RECOGNIZES SUCCESS
Charter Oak's Quarterly Meeting Applauds Employee Efforts
Groton, CT-July 31, 2009-Charter Oak Federal Credit Union held its second quarterly meeting of 2009 on Tuesday, July 28th at the Groton Inn and Suites. Led by CEO Brian Orenstein, the meeting focused on the efforts of outstanding employees, branch performance levels and Charter Oak's increased community efforts.
Recognizing exceptional staff performance, Orenstein awarded the Team of the Quarter Cup to the Credit Union's Long Hill Road branch for the second quarter in a row. Outperforming all other branches, the team managed by Deb Berardi, led the Credit Union in new checking accounts, direct deposit initiations, new business accounts and a variety of other product categories.
Also recognized were the dozens of employees who have volunteered their time at various community events throughout the year. With over four hundred hours of community service since April, Charter Oak's Community Involvement Team aspires to help those in need while increasing the visibility of the Credit Union.
