Charter Oak Employees Celebrate Volunteering
with the Children of the B.P. Learned Mission!
The children of New London’s B.P. Learned Mission welcomed Charter Oak employees and United Way volunteers for an evening of homemade food and fun recently! Preparing a fresh tomato sauce with vegetables harvested from the school’s garden on the United Way’s Day of Caring, students served a delicious dinner to their guests as an official thank you for all their hard work raking and weeding their summer gardens.
