Thousands of Area Residents Receive Cash Bonus from Credit Union’s New Member Rewards Program Totaling over $259,000
Thousands of area residents may have noticed some extra cash in their accounts this week thanks to Charter Oak Federal Credit Union’s new member rewards program. Rewarding members who maintain important account relationships with the Credit Union, Charter Oak’s Gold Rewards Program paid out its first annual cash bonus to 2,599 qualifying members on September 21st. Distributing over $259,000, each member who qualified for the bonus received a $100 deposit to their account, serving as an official kick off to the Credit Union’s new rewards program.
Featuring a variety of benefits, “Gold Rewards” offers Charter Oak members enticing incentives for using various financial services and meeting balance requirements. Incentives such as no ATM fees, special rates on car loans and certificates of deposit, free online bill payment and an annual cash bonus are just some of the many new perks associated with the Program. Surely to become the most popular Program benefit, the “Annual Cash Bonus” will be awarded annually to members who have met the Program’s criteria for 12 consecutive months. Currently, 3,440 members have qualified for Gold Rewards benefits for the month of September and are ready to start qualifying for next year’s big payout.
