UNITED WAY OF SECT’S PARTNER OF THE YEAR
Charter Oak Named Partner of the Year at United Way’s Annual Community Appreciation Event

Charter Oak Federal Credit Union and its employees were recently named the United Way of Southeastern Connecticut’s Partner of the Year for 2010. Participating in campaigns since 1969, Charter Oak has a long history of donating to the United Way, which raises and distributes money to organizations and individuals in need throughout the region.
Recognized at the United Way’s Annual Community Appreciation Event held at the MGM Grand at Foxwoods, Charter Oak has over 130 employees who donate each year. In 2010 alone, Charter Oak employees raised and donated over $50,000.
