FITCH STUDENTS CASH IN COINS
IN SUPPORT OF GROTON FOOD LOCKER!
Each holiday season, Fitch high school students generously donate spare change in support of the Groton Food Locker, which provides food assistance to hundreds of Groton families each year. Armed with a bucket full of coins, school representatives stopped into our Long Hill Road branch to count the donations in Charter Oak’s state-of-the-art coin counting machine. Raising $281.78 this December, Fitch students have worked hard to help those less fortunate!
Charter Oak Federal Credit Union would like to applaud their efforts and congratulate the students for a job well done! Please consider your own holiday donation in the upcoming New Year by donating to your favorite local food pantry or soup kitchen. After all, giving back is always in season!
