Fitch Students Paint the New Mural in Charter Oak’s High School Branch!

Getting students involved with Charter Oak’s Focused on Finances Program is a priority for the Credit Union. So when it came down to painting Charter Oak’s signature orange tree on the wall inside its Fitch High School branch, the Credit Union knew just who to ask!
Working with Fitch High School’s Art Teacher Karna Hopkins, Charter Oak was able to recruit two talented student artists to join in the fun and transform our plain white wall into a work of art! Check out the photos above to see how students completed the project with a projector, a transparency, a few paint brushes and a bucket of orange paint!
Of course, a special thank you is in order to our generous volunteers, Sarah Blaisdell and Sarah Adams who did a tremendous job painting! Your work will be on display for years to come!
