Charter Oak Members & Fitch Students Donate in Support of Japan Earthquake Relief
Partnering with Charter Oak Federal Credit Union, students, faculty and staff at Robert E. Fitch Senior High School were able to raise $901.83 in support of ongoing relief efforts in Japan. Coupled with the $428.70 donated by Credit Union members, Fitch and Charter Oak’s fundraising campaign raised $1,330.53!
Ravaged by an earthquake and tsunami on March 11, thousands of victims in Japan are still struggling to survive while they wait for much needed medical care, as well as supplies of fresh food and water. All monies collected will go to the American Red Cross, which is coordinating relief efforts on behalf of the United States.
