Charter Oak Federal Credit Union employees love to give back to the community and one way they do so is through the United Way of Southeastern Connecticut! Over 130 Charter Oak employees donate their time and money to the United Way, which raises and distributes money to organizations and individuals in need throughout the region.
Participating in United Way campaigns since 1969 when Charter Oak was the Electric Boat Credit Union and the United Way of SECT was known as United Community Services of SECT, our Credit Union has a long history of donating to this wonderful organization. In 2010 alone, employees donated nearly $50,000 to those in need.
