We have been made aware of a new scam involving financial institutions across the United States. Some of our members and nonmembers received an automated message claiming that their credit or debit card had been suspended and instructing them to call a telephone number to reactivate the card.
Please note: There has not been a data breach of any kind involving Charter Oak. These are random calls being made within our local community.
This call is not from Charter Oak and members are advised that this is a scam and that no personal information should be provided.
