CHARTER OAK SEEKING NAMES OF SOLDIERS OVERSEAS
Credit Union's Support Our Troops Project Will Send Care Packages to Deployed Soldiers
Groton, CT-November 23, 2009-Charter Oak Federal Credit Union's employee funded Community Outreach Program is seeking names and addresses of soldiers stationed overseas for the Support Our Troops Project. Sending care packages filled with snacks, toiletries, books, games and more to a list of names submitted by employees and Credit Union members, volunteers for the Project handle everything from purchasing, assembling and mailing the care packages to soldiers currently deployed.
Should you have a friend or loved one stationed overseas and would like them to receive a surprise care package of goodies, simply call or email Jackie Uhler at (860) 446-3284 or at juhler@cofcu.com. Care packages will be sent depending on availability.
Charter Oak Federal Credit Union is a cooperative financial institution owned by its members.
