CHARTER OAK SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATIONS NOW AVAILABLE
Credit Union to Award Six Scholarships to Student Members this Spring
Groton, CT-January 2, 2010-This spring, Charter Oak Federal Credit Union will again be awarding six Community Scholarships to qualified members attending an accredited 2-year or 4-year institution of higher education.
Rewarding student members who excel academically and are active in their communities through extracurricular activities or community service, each winner will receive $2,000 towards their pursuit of higher education.
Applications may be obtained at any Charter Oak Federal Credit Union location or online at CharterOak.org/community/scholarships. Deadline to apply for a Community Scholarship is March 15, 2010.
Charter Oak Federal Credit Union is a cooperative financial institution owned by its members. Membership is open to persons who live, work, worship, attend school, or volunteer in, and businesses and other legal entities located in New London County and Windham County, CT. Membership also extends to immediate family or household members.
