Charter Oak Federal Credit Union was recently named one of Connecticut's Top Lenders in 2009 by The Commercial Record, a publication popular in the business community for providing crucial real estate, banking, lending, construction and development news.
Naming financial institutions who led the pack in real-estate lending, Charter Oak ranked in the top five in several categories, including: 3rd place in single family home mortgages by number of loans and dollar volume, 3rd place in condo mortgages by number of loans and 4th place in dollar volume, 4th place in multi-family homes by number of loans and 2nd place in refinances/HELOC by number of loans and by dollar volume.
