CHARTER OAK FEDERAL CREDIT UNION WINS 2011 EXCELLENCE IN LENDING AWARD
National Award Honors Charter Oak’s Mortgage Lending Excellence
Groton, CT-November 9, 2011 –Charter Oak Federal Credit Union was recently awarded the 2011 Excellence in Lending Award by CUNA (Credit Union National Association) Mutual Group and the CUNA Lending Council at their annual conference on November 7th.
Presented to Charter Oak’s Chief Lending Officer, John Dolan, the award honored the Groton-based Credit Union’s mortgage lending success, which includes claiming the region’s number one ranking for mortgage closings in New London and Windham Counties, CT.
Created by CUNA Mutual Group and the CUNA Lending Council in 2000, the Excellence in Lending Awards recognize credit unions that generate outstanding results through stable, sustainable operations. Providing industry-wide recognition to the industry’s best lenders, this year’s awards were distributed in New Orleans, LA.
