CHARTER OAK FCU PROMOTES FOUR
Jeannettia Hunt and Yvonne Walsh Promoted to Supervisory Positions; Assistant Vice Presidents Deb Berardi and Sundae Franklin Promoted to Regional Sales Management Positions
Groton, CT-May 31, 2011 –Charter Oak Federal Credit Union recently promoted four employees, including Jeannettia Hunt of Groton, Yvonne Walsh of Ledyard, Deborah Berardi of Griswold and Sundae Franklin of Quaker Hill.
Jeannettia Hunt, who has worked at Charter Oak since 2000, has 23 years of experience working in the financial service industry and will serve as Branch Supervisor of the Credit Union’s Niantic office. Prior to joining the Credit Union staff, Hunt was employed at the Bank of Hawaii and Hickam Federal Credit Union, both located in Honolulu, Hawaii. Residing in Groton with her daughter Alyssa, Hunt also serves as a Minister with the Shiloh Baptist Church in New London.
Yvonne Walsh, who has been employed at COFCU since 2005, will oversee Charter Oak’s Montville office as Branch Supervisor. She has worked in the financial services industry for seven years and was formerly employed by Mohegan Sun Casino. Walsh resides in Ledyard with her husband Joseph and two sons Thomas and Austin.
Deb Berardi and Sundae Franklin, who were both named Assistant Vice Presidents in January 2011, have been promoted to “Regional Sales Managers” for the Groton-based Credit Union. Berardi previously managed Charter Oak’s Long Hill Road Branch, while Franklin managed the Niantic and Montville offices. Both will work out of the Credit Union’s Chicago Avenue headquarters.
