CHARTER OAK'S CHIEF OPERATIONS OFFICER TO RETIRE
Rick W. Stout, Charter Oak's Chief Operations Officer, Announces Upcoming Retirement
Groton, CT-February 1, 2010-Rick W. Stout, Charter Oak Federal Credit Union's Chief Operations Officer, plans to retire in February 2010. A lifelong resident of Southeastern Connecticut, Stout has worked in the financial services industry for 44 years, including institutions such as Pacific Finance Company, Norwich Savings Society and Mechanics Savings Bank. An active member of the Credit Union League of CT, the Connecticut Mortgage Bankers Association and the Credit Union National Association's Advisory Board, Rick Stout is also associated with many civic groups such as the Boy Scouts of America, Little League and the American Cancer Society.
Beginning his Charter Oak career in December 2000, Stout played an integral role in the Credit Union's growth over the past several years, helping to make it one the region's strongest financial institutions. When asked what he liked most about working at Charter Oak, Stout said, "Being associated with so many professionals who are dedicated to providing first-class, personalized service to Credit Union members."
