CHARTER OAK MEMBERS DONATE TO FIGHT BREAST CANCER
Members Donated $245 in Support of Backus Hospital's Circle of
Care Program
Charter Oak Federal Credit Union would like to thank the generous members who donated over $245 in support of Backus Hospital's Pink Circle Campaign. Sold throughout the month of May, the pink circles displayed in each of Charter Oak's ten branches were purchased by members for $1 in honor of a friend or loved one affected by breast cancer.
100% of the proceeds will go towards the Backus Breast Health Initiative, which is dedicated to improving care, enhancing the detection and monitoring of breast cancer, providing earlier and more advanced treatment modalities, as well as transforming the overall patient experience. The program also serves to raise awareness regarding the disease, which more than 40,000 women succumb to each year.
